The Halo Board 2nd Edition electric skateboard boasts a shockingly-powerful motor. It’s a dual hub motor, with a total output of 3000 watts. They are located in the skateboard hubs; each motor controls a wheel on the sides. The battery is lithium-ion and gets topped up when you brake because of the Halo Regenerative Brake system.

Halo Board spends enormous amounts of resources on R&D to create “what was unthinkable or out of reach” and we think they did exactly that with Halo Board 2 Carbon edition electric skateboard. These days we are used to seeing electric skateboards, scooters, and hoverboards in every city, but 5-10 years ago we could just dream or see in movies a skateboard that goes by its own.
The Halo Board Beast embodies what we loved about the Halo 2 and kicks it up a notch. The motor and battery have more power, the range is longer, the deck is longer, and the wheels are bigger. The remote has been redesigned as well. The only major feature that isn’t changed is the speed, but at 26mph, the skateboard is plenty fast.
Halo Board is ranked 5th while Miles Board Dual is ranked 20th. The Halo’s deck is stronger than what you get from a typical wooden board. It’s made from 100% T700 carbon fiber which doesn’t crack or deform as wooden decks sometimes do. In general, the Halo will likely last for a long time.
